Deal bountifully with Your servant,

That I may live and keep Your word [treasuring it and being guided by it day by day].

Open my eyes [to spiritual truth] so that I may behold

Wonderful things from Your law. (Psalm 119:17-18) The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:4-6)

Then He opened their minds to [help them] understand the Scriptures. (Luke 24:45) To open their [spiritual] eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified (set apart, made holy) by faith in Me. (Acts 26:18)

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. (Isaiah 35:5) For this reason, since the day we heard about it, we have not stopped praying for you, asking [specifically] that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [with insight into His purposes], and in understanding [of spiritual things], so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to [fully] please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts; [we pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light. (Colossians 1:9-12)

On that day the deaf will hear the words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see [the words of the book]. (Isaiah 29:18)

I will lead the blind by a way they do not know; I will guide them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness into light before them and rough places into level ground. These things I will do for them, and I will not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:16) Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. (John 10:9)

And, If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner. (1 Peter 4:18)

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)

This is what the LORD says: Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask which paths are the old, reliable paths. Ask which way leads to blessings. Live that way, and find a resting place for your souls. But you said that you wouldn't live that way. (Jeremiah 6:16)

Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For this many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able. (Luke 13:24)

I call on heaven and earth as witnesses today that I have offered you life or death, blessings or curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants will live. (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Keep straight the path of your feet, and all your ways will be sure.

Do not turn away to the right nor to the left [where evil may lurk]; Turn your foot from [the path of] evil. (Proverbs 4:26-27)
