Walk in Humblenss

Humility is an essential virtue for spiritual growth,

an attitude of spiritual modesty. Humility precedes honor, humility is the quality of being humble. Humility is a continual state of being. It takes a humble heart to be honored and keep balance. If honor takes place without humility, pride comes in.

(Proverbs 18:12)

The LORD requires us to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with our God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]. (Micah 6:8) God wants us to follow His example in every way—in holiness, love, and service. Walk in obedience to Him, His word and ways, this pleases Him. He requires us to fear [and worship]the LORD our God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being]. (Deuteronomy 10:11) Reading God's word daily, being a doer of His word, humbling ourself before Him in reverence of His word, fearing Him and meditating on His word daily helps us grow spiritually.
