Walk Daily in His Truth and Light

Let no one deceive you with empty arguments [that encourage you to sin], for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience [those who habitually sin]. So do not participate or even associate with them [in the rebelliousness of sin]. For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [live as those who are native-born to the Light] (for the fruit [the effect, the result] of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him--your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation]. (Ephesians 5:6-10) So that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to [fully] please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]; [we pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the same Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light. (Colossians 1:10-12)

They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house;

And You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights.

For with You is the fountain of life [the fountain of life-giving water];

In Your light we see light.

O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,

And Your righteousness (salvation) to the upright in heart. (Psalm 36:8-10)
