Focus on His ministry, on communicating God's revealed truth exhibiting a great love of God. Awaiting and confidently expecting the [fulfillment of our] blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who [willingly] gave Himself [to be crucified] on our behalf to redeem us and purchase our freedom from all wickedness, and to purify for Himself a chosen and very special people to be His own possession, who are enthusiastic for doing what is. (Titus 2:13-14) Preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome. [accept the unacceptable].  Be clear-headed in every situation [stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry. If service, in the act of serving; or he who teaches, in the act of teaching. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. (Romans 12:7) The word of God is our instruction, the manual for eternal life. It contains wisdom, encouragement, comfort, for teaching, training and guiding us in truth,  so we might know and follow God's will. (2Timothy 4:2,5) All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]. (2 Timothy 3:16) Our walk with God to grow in intimacy and understanding, this is by spending time in His word. Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example],

Nor stand in the path of sinners,

Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers).

But his delight is in the law of the LORD,

And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.

And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water,

Which yields its fruit in its season;

Its leaf does not wither;

And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity]. (Psalm 1:1-3)

"Faith of Hope in His Word"

I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; More than the watchmen for the morning. O Is
