A servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, separated and consecrated to God's higher purpose in life when we accept Jesus and trust him as our savior. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. He knew who He was, why He came and what He had to do. He knew the higher purpose to which he had been called and walked it out. He knew he was set apart for the purpose of preaching the gospel and in walking out this mission; he was chosen long before he was an enemy, chosen and empowered to be a prevailing witness to the world. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath called and anointed me to proclaim the gospel. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, he will silence every fear and answer every question and dispel every fear of impossibility. Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. This gift, which is a special anointing He gave to me, for the work of the his ministry. The purpose of the anointing? God anoints and enable's to speak the supernatural words and perform the supernatural tasks He has called them to do. Consider the purposes of God's anointing, according to Isaiah: To supernaturally enable men and women to perform their ministries. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for
ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. Called, anointed, and chosen vessel to share his word. Now in a large house there are not only vessels and objects of gold and silver, but also vessels and objects of wood and of earthenware, and some are for honorable (noble, good) use and some for dishonorable (ignoble, common). Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [which are dishonorable--disobedient, sinful], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified [set apart for a special purpose and], useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
Let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
And we know that all things work together for good of them who are the called according to his purpose. You have set up a banner for those who fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder—a banner to shield them from attack], A banner that may be displayed because of the truth. Selah
To the weak I became [as the] weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means [in any and every way] save some [by leading them to faith in Jesus Christ].
So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength].
The LORD is my light and my salvation. Who is there to fear? The LORD is my life's fortress. Who is there to be afraid of?
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.
