“For your husband is your Maker,
The LORD of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the God of the whole earth.
“For the LORD has called you,
Like a wife who has been abandoned, grieved in spirit,
And like a wife [married] in her youth when she is [later] rejected and scorned,” (The Call) to Testify to the truth of his message; to serve as proof of evidence of someone's being or existence. (The Call) to Worship an act of exalting God to a place of honor and reverence, because he is worthy. Worship is acknowledging the greatness of God both publicly and privately. Whether public or private, worship include physical expression's of praise, reverence and humility. Worship admits that God deserves all our devotion and service, because he is so far greater than anyone or anything else.
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. Cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul! [with awe and profound reverence] and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. Never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord. Devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength. That you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all the good things he does. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the LORD.
O magnify the LORD with me, And let us lift up and glorify His name together. I exalt you, my God the King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
I will bless you every day;
I will praise your name forever and ever.
The Lord is great and is highly praised;
his greatness is unsearchable.
One generation will declare your works to the next
and will proclaim your mighty acts.
I will speak of your splendor and glorious majesty and your wondrous works.
They will proclaim the power of your awe-inspiring acts,
and I will declare your greatness.
They will give a testimony of your great goodness
and will joyfully sing of your righteousness.
