“And The Spirit and The Bride are saying, 'Come', and let him who hears, say, “Come”, and let him who thirsts come and take the water of life without charge.

But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious, undeserved] grace [which makes us free of the guilt of sin and grants us eternal life].

For as you well know, we never came with words of flattery nor with a pretext for greed—God is our witness.

There it was—the true Light [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] which, coming into the world, enlightens everyone.

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.

Who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].

For You make him most blessed [and a blessing] forever; You make him joyful with the joy of Your presence.

[and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption].

Sing of the honor and glory and magnificence of His name; Make His praise glorious.

“All the earth will [bow down to] worship You [in submissive wonder], And will sing praises to You; They will praise Your name in song.” Selah

I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; More than the watchmen for the morning. O Is
