Enlightment

The Lord GOD has given Me [His Servant] the tongue of disciples [as One who is taught], That I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple [as One who is taught] (Isaiah 50:4)

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. (Psalm 143:8) Enlighten me with the knowledge of Your will; not only showing me what thy will is, but teach me how to do it.

Having His Spirit for our Guide; we are led by the Spirit. We also pray that we might be enlightened to do His will. It is because of the LORD’S lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed,

Because His [tender] compassions never fail.

They are new every morning;

Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. (Lamentation 3:22-23)

Because a thousand years in your eyes is like a day that is finished when it is passed and like a watch of the night. (Psalm 90:4)

Lord, every morning as we wake, be our strength. As we face the trials of the day, be our strength.

O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited [expectantly] for You. Be the arm of Your servants every morning [that is, their strength and their defense], Our salvation also in the time of trouble. (Isaiah 33:2) The Lord your God within you, the Mighty Man and The Savior, He shall sweeten you in joy and he shall make you new in his love, and He shall make you dance with a song as that in the day of a feast. (Zechariah 3:17) Not only is God all-powerful and is Mighty To Save but God rejoices over us, He rejoices over us with singing. He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant [the privilege] to eat [the fruit] from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7)

Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are those who wash their robes [in the blood of Christ by believing and trusting in Him—the righteous who do His commandments], so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)
