Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, and favored by God] are they who did not see [Me] and yet believed [in Me. (John 20:29) There is a great blessing for those who believe when they cannot see. In all the confusing circumstances of life, yet you believe, you are blessed.
Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not even see Him now, you believe and trust in Him and you greatly rejoice and delight with inexpressible and glorious joy. (1Peter 1:8) Even facing persecution comforting with the truth of who we are in Christ; children of God Most High. Our inheritance as God's children is eternal, full of glory, and secured forever. Even in our suffering, we have every reason to rejoice.
O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. ( Psalm 84:12) O LORD of Heaven's Armies, what joy for those who trust in you.
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11) Joy in believing that not even death will separate us from fellowship with the Lord. We will survive death and enjoy unending pleasure in the Lord's presence. A relationship trusting in God and not needing to fear anything in this world. Those who trust in Him will survive and bear fruit despite circumstances.
They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
Blessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the LORD And whose hope and confident expectation is the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired. (Isaiah 40:31) When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
(Isaiah 43:2) And I will guide thee continually, I will satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones; and thou shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water fail not. (Isaiah 58:11)
