Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence]. (1 Chronicles 16:11) Our faith is about an active, dynamic relationship with God, where we depend on His strength and continually pursue intimacy with Him. It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. (Psalm 18:32) He has promised to fight your battle for you; to arm you with strength and make your way perfect. Nobody is greater, He takes care of His own, and He will make sure all of His promises are fulfilled.
He is your Source of power and strength for all things, and He will always lead and guide us. He gives us the strength “to comprehend” His greatness, His power, His promises, and His love.
On God my salvation and my glory rest; He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God.
Trust [confidently] in Him at all times. (Psalm 62:7-8) Trust in Him because He is our salvation. Because He is our Rock, because He is our strength and our refuge, trust in Him at all times. His salvation, His strength, His righteousness, He is a refuge; our firmness and security of strength is in Christ, who is the Rock of ages, in whom is everlasting strength.
How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you. (Psalm 31:19) Think about the greatness of God's goodness, His goodness can be fully trusted no matter what we witness. This goodness, is there for those who reverence Him. Those who reverence Him also trust in Him for protection. God is a sheltering presence of refuge and a strong fortress to save you. In the shelter of your presence you hide us; in your dwelling you keep us safe. God will sheild us from dangers or difficulties – they may come close but they will not touch. Nothing or anyone can keep God's goodness from reaching those who trust in Him. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. (Psalm 34:8) An invitation to take God at his word, to trust in the Lord and experience His goodness. “How sweet are Your words to my taste! Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” Experience a sweet taste when we read the word of God. Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. (Psalm 119:103,105)
