By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises].
Faith makes us sure of what we hope for (divinely guaranteed) and gives us revelation of what we cannot see (experienced by the physical senses). That your faith would not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Yet we do speak wisdom among those spiritually mature [believers who have teachable hearts and a greater understanding]; but [it is a higher] wisdom not [the wisdom] of this present age nor of the rulers and leaders of this age,
we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom once hidden [from man, but now revealed to us by God, that wisdom] which God predestined before the ages to our glory [to lift us into the glory of His presence]. Where ever He manifests Himself, there are the exhibitions of honor, glory, and majesty always the accompaniments of His presence.
The knowledge of divine things could not be had through man's normal senses. One must be born again—a person must express saving faith, in order to be saved. When you have been born again, not only is your inward self, also your outward self too, liife must become totally new.
To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
To be born again is to be quickened by the Spirit and receive a change of heart. Our rebirth begins at baptism and is completed when we receive the companionship of the Holy Ghost and are cleansed from sin. The burial of the sinner and the spiritual rebirth of the person to live in newness of life. The truth as a way of life, God the father rejoices that his children are walking in the truth. Living as children of light, the fruit of light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth Accepting Christ as lord and savior in order to be saved from hell and given eternal life with God in heaven. It is only when we grasp, by grace, the truth of God’s holiness, that we can be holy as He has called us to be holy. God is holy, set apart from and above every creature and all creation. He is alone. He cannot be compared to anything. God is glorious in holiness, He alone is worthy of all praise. Praise focuses on God, His sovereignty over all creatures and creation, exalting in His name, and rejoicing in His praise. Now unto the King, Lord and Savior, invisible, the only wise God, be all the glory, honor and praise forever throughout all the ages.
