Blessed and greatly favored is the man whose strength is in You, In whose heart are the highways to Zion. God Favors Those Who Have a Close Relationship with Him. The Lord bestows favor and honor, you spend time. O LORD of hosts,

How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. When we set our hearts to walk in God's way, we cannot depend on our own abilities, or knowledge. Instead, we must rely on God's wisdom, strength and power. They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power];

Each of them appears before God in Zion.

Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. Worshipping the Lord and seeking His kingdom and righteousness.

True worship of God is when we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Giving God the glory that He is due and honor Him through praising and worshipping Him alone.

I will give thanks and praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart; And will glorify Your name forevermore.

The one who has a perverse heart does not find good. Such attitudes are out of focus with the Lord's righteousness.

A crooked heart neither seeks truth nor speaks truth. Whose heart is far from God is of no value to the kingdom.

The perverse in heart are repulsive and shamefully vile to the LORD, But those who are blameless and above reproach in their walk are His delight.

The 'fruit' of the lips is that which the lips produce. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually. Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name. I will bless the Lord.

I will extol the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.
