In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. The blessings of trusting God with your life include knowing who God is, knowing God's heart and intentions for you, surrendering your control over for every outcome. Recognizing He is God, and we acknowledge His authority in what he does. Having faith that He is with us, and accepting His guidance day to day. Being free of worry and control and puting our faith in God. Trusting that He knows the way through trails and believing that He has good reasons for taking us through certain paths, even though it is hard and unfamiliar. We hold on to the truth that there is a purpose waiting on the other side of the path which He takes us through. Man's thoughts and ways are only on earthly things, not heavenly things. Declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Man's reasoning can't grasp the thought processes of God.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.

Jesus gave his own life for us, so we would stop living for our ways and live instead for God's ways. Being able people to walk in the way of the steps which He took; to be His imitators and followers. Walking along His path and experiencing the realities which accompanied Him on the way.

Righteousness will go before Him And will make our footsteps into a way in which to walk. He is the shepherd of our souls, lifter of our head and sustainer of our life ].

He refreshes and restores our soul (life); He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. He is magnified in and through us to bring Him glory. Emphasizing His unshakable, firm, steady, reliable nature as our anchor of faith. An anchor of the soul that fixes itself in the solid reality of God's presence through what life brings.

Our souls find an anchor in him. When Jesus is our anchor, we become empowered by his Spirit to do all things through Christ who strengthens us. No matter what happens, no matter what comes our way. Placing our life in His care and putting all our trust in Him. Upon our God glory rest; He is our rock of [unyielding] strength. God not only is an anchor but also our firm foundation of strength. Those who trust in the God to a tree that is planted by a stream of water, which can withstand even the harshest conditions and continue to thrive. God is in control, and our trust and faith in Him would be rewarded. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes the steps of his path. God is in control of everything that happens in our life's and He has a plan for us.

The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. God's word is our manuel for how to live in this world given directions to the way of the path we should walk.
