And he answered and said, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. Eager to study God’s Word, eager to pray, eager to obey and honor God in all things, and eager to share Jesus Christ with others. It is through these spiritual disciplines that the love for God grows and matures to the glory of God.
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
Even when we're seeking God and his saving help we can rejoice and be glad, not in our circumstances but in the Lord. Making Him our source of strength. Without God as your strength, you will not be able to do anything on your own. With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weakened and renews our strength. We soar on wings like eagles; running and not growing weary, we will walk and not be weakened.Let us not grow weary or become discouraged, for at the proper time we will reap our reward, if we do not give up.
For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness].
God is doing something great and wonderful in the lives of his people. Because of that, even the worst troubles in our lives seem minor. That is so that the troubles of this life hardly seem to matter. The Holy Spirit uses our troubles to bring God's glory into our lives reward. When we weigh everything out, the scales of our reward in eternity far outweigh the uneasy times in our life.
Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in us. We cast our cares on You today, knowing that our trials are temporary. Thank You for Your blessing on our life and for leading us into victory in Jesus' name. Amen
We do praise you from the bottom of our heart, O God, but bless us as we seek to bring others to know and to praise you more fully. In Jesus' name we pray. I Will praise You,O Lord, with my whole heart I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous and wonderful deeds! .
But the wisdom that is from above is pure, filled with peace, meek and attentive, filled with love and good fruit, shows no favoritism and is always sincere, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. (James 3:17)
But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious to the ungrateful , unthankful and cruel. (Luke 6: 27,32,35)
But I say to you who hear [Me and pay attention to My words]: Love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, [make it a practice to] do good to those who hate you.
bless and show kindness to those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
And just as you want people to treat you, treat them in the same way. Whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and mind and all your soul [your entire being]. You shall walk after the LORD your God and you shall fear [and worship] Him [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], and you shall keep His commandments and you shall listen to His voice, and you shall serve Him, and cling to Him.
Therefore the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness (moral character, spiritual integrity), According to the purity of my hands in His sight.
To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity
With the kind (merciful, faithful, loyal)
You prove to be loyal to one who is faithful; you prove to be trustworthy to one who is innocent.
With the pure You prove Yourself pure, but with the crooked You prove Yourself shrewd. (Psalm 18:24-26)
My lips will glorify you because your faithful love is better than life.
Thus will I bless thee all my life long: and in thy name I will lift up my hands.
