I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD, who call you by your name, even the God of Israel. (Isaiah 45:3) For the LORD gives [skillful and godly] wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6 )

He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him]; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage],

for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. (Proverbs 2:7-8)

For physical training is of some value, but godliness (spiritual training) is of value in everything and in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and for the life to come. (1Timothy 4-8) Keep commanding and teaching these things. Let no one look down on [you because of] your youth, but be an example and set a pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in [moral] purity. Until I come, devote yourself to public reading [of Scripture], to preaching and to teaching [the sound doctrine of God’s word]. Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, [that special endowment] which was intentionally bestowed on you [by the Holy Spirit] through prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands on you [at your ordination. (1Timothy 4:11-14) It’s easy to turn off worry when you turn on worship. Worship opens the door to His presence and power in your life. Living in the awareness of God's Presence! Living in a place set apart! WORSHIP is lifestyle!

What it means to worship God in spirit?

To say that we must worship God “in spirit” means, among other things, that it must originate from within, from the heart; it must be sincere, motivated by our love for God and gratitude for all he is and has done. Worship cannot be mechanical or formalistic.

In John 4:24, Jesus states, "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." This teaching implies that worship is not limited to a specific location or ritual but is rather a matter of the heart and obedience to His commands.

What kind of worship pleases God?

Whole-life worship is the kind that pleases God. "let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise and do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased (Hebrews 13:15) What is a true worship?

Jesus laid out what real true worship is, first it's to worship God in spirit and truth. That means you understand who God is and all about the Godhead. So real worship is more than singing songs, real worship involves what Romans says; “your body as a living sacrifice."

Worship exalts God.

But these are merely a by-product of praise. Scripture tells us God inhabits the praises of His people (Ps. 22:3). When we worship, He meets with us, and we experience His goodness. Why We Worship?

We worship God because of who He is.

We worship God because of what He has done for us.

We worship God because He commands us to.

We worship God to bless and honor Him.

We worship God because we love Him.

We worship God because of what He is doing on the earth. God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. (John 4:23)
