(Psalm 37:23)

The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. To strengthen, to secure, to empower, to sustain, to nurture, to cultivate, to enlarge, to develop, to fix. For those who love God and are following in His will and purpose for them, no matter what comes our way, no matter our trails, everything will be worked out for good. Enduring suffering and hardship, yet holding on to our faith in God, which allows us to achieve victory. Now this [expression], “Yet once more,” indicates the removal and final transformation of all those things which can be shaken--that is, of that which has been created--so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe; for our God is [indeed] a consuming fire. (Hebrews 11:27-29) May our holiness be exalted by our conduct and reflected in our character.

Give, and it will be given to you. Poured into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return. ( Luke 6:38) Whatever you give is going to be given back to you in "good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

Jesus is instructing those who follow Him to "give" forgiveness and an uncondemning attitude in the same amount we desire to be forgiven. This choice must be influenced by understanding as children of God the Father. They should let go of the instinct to judge other people's actions and declare them guilty. This is how followers of Jesus should treat their enemies. We are to become agents of restoration, like God, putting things right in the world. Becoming an expression of His characteristics

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that God's righteousness would be produced in us. In Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].

(2Corinthians 5:21) We ought to demonstrate compassion, humility, patience, and forgiveness. Above all, followers of Christ should show love.

(Colossians 3:14) Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.
