Those who ignore the Lord will be "humbled" and defeated. As for me, I call to God, and the LORD saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice. He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. ( Psalm 55:16-18) A call to respond to the mighty acts of God. If God has redeemed, you from something (and if you are a Child of God) then you are called to declare His mighty works. O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;

For His compassion and lovingkindness endure forever!

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so,

Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary. (Psalm 107:1-3) For the LORD’S portion and chosen share is His people;

Jacob (Israel) is the allotment of His inheritance.

He found him in a desert land,

In the howling wasteland of a wilderness;

He kept circling him, He took care of him,

He protected him as the apple of His eye.

As an eagle that protects its nest,

That flutters over its young,

He spread out His wings and took them,

He carried them on His pinions.

So the LORD alone led him;

There was no foreign god with him. (Deuteronomy 32:9-12) They wandered in the wilderness in a [solitary] desert region;

And did not find a way to an inhabited city.

Hungry and thirsty,

They fainted.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,

And He rescued them from their distresses.

He led them by the straight way,

To an inhabited city [where they could establish their homes].

Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness,

And for His wonderful acts to the children of men! (Psalm 107:4-8) Trails of life will make us uncomfortable, but instead of fearing them, we can remember everything that Jesus has done. The Supremacy of Christ, and Perseverance in Christ, especially in the face of persecution. The great truths about Christ's superiority and His high priesthood, there can be no other response other than to draw near Him with assurance and confidence.

Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]. (Hebrews 10:23) Christ is faithful as a Son over His [Father’s] house. And we are His house if we hold fast our confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ].(Hebrews 3:6) He is a high priest who in every respect has been tested as us. Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior. (Hebrews 4:14)

"Faith of Hope in His Word"

I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; More than the watchmen for the morning. O Is
