Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer. ( Psalm 19:14)
A man has joy in giving an appropriate answer, And how good and delightful is a word spoken at the right moment—how good it is. ( Proverbs 15:23)
The mind of the intelligent and discerning seeks knowledge and eagerly inquires after it, But the mouth of the [stubborn] fool feeds on foolishness. (Proverbs 15:14) We follow from Christ, who is the source of everything we do.
But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. (Ephesians 4:15) For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. We should give thanks for the trials of our life, for through them we strengthen and confirm our faith in God. Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. ( James 1:1-4) Our joy is based on the happiness of our future with God and the certainty that we will make it there.
In this you rejoice greatly, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials. (1Peter 1:6) The genuineness of our faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1Peter 1:7) The various trials we will inevitably face in this life are grounds for rejoicing because they reveal what has already been worked into our souls by God because of Jesus and through the Spirit, resulting in glory and praise for Jesus.
When trials come, we make a choice to continue to trust God, in and through trails. God continues to provide. Our faith grows stronger. Like gold, our faith is refined and purified by the heat of our trials. When we trust in God, he will stand up for us. God needs us to trust in him even when we face the heat of the fiery furnace of fire of life's trails; even heated more than seven times knowing our God is with us. In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Phillippians 4:6)
To be anxious for nothing means we don't need to be afraid, worried, alarmed or frightened about anything because all things work together for the good of those who love God. (Romans 8:28) Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. (Phillippians 4:7)
