God's word lovingly draws us to righteousness and warns us against sin and wicked ways. We can choose to follow God and experience goodness and abundance in this life.

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.

Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience], Who delights greatly in His commandments. (Psalm 112:1)Spiritual blessings are retained in heaven and they are dispersed to the believer on earth according to the believer's faith. All of these blessings are provided through and by Jesus Christ.

Spiritual blessings are far more important than material blessings.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night. ( Psalm 1:2) Following Christ and reflecting on Him.

Christ's work on the cross,

God's amazing forgiveness bought with a great price,

God's constant presence with us through the person and power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus has eternal life in himself. He is the Living Stone. Those who accept him as their Savior has eternal life. The Living Stone who was rejected by men, but chosen and precious by God. Come to Him [the risen Lord] as to a living Stone which men rejected and threw away, but which is choice and precious in the sight of God. You [believers], like living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house for a holy and dedicated priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ. ( 1Peter 2:4-5)

But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A CONSECRATED NATION, A [special] PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1Peter 2:9)
