Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;
Tremble [in submissive wonder] before Him, all the earth.
Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns;
Indeed, the world is firmly and securely established, it shall not be moved;
He will judge and rule the people with fairness.” ( Psalm 96:9-10) Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness; Tremble [in submissive wonder] before Him, all the earth. We are told to "enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” ( Psalm 100:4) When we come to God, we have so many reasons to thank Him. Jesus is the greatest of all these reasons. Bringing thankfulness and praise to God is a way to worship Him. Let all the earth fear and worship the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke to, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. (Psalm 33:8-9) The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him (and blesses his path). ( Psalm 37:23) For we [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, set apart for His purpose and] are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory and take pride and exult in Christ Jesus and place no confidence [in what we have or who we are] in the flesh. ( Phillippians 3:3) But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired ( Isaiah 40:31) LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited [expectantly] for You.
Be the arm of Your servants every morning [that is, their strength and their defense],
Our salvation also in the times. And He will be the security and stability of your times,
A treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge;
The fear of the LORD is your treasure. ( Isaiah 33:2,6)
For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. ( Phillippians2:13) So neither is the one who plants nor the one who waters anything, but [only] God who causes the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one [in importance and esteem, working toward the same purpose]; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building. ( 1Corinthians 3:7-9)
The works of His hands are truth and [absolute] justice; All His precepts are sure (established, reliable, trustworthy).
They are upheld forever and ever; They are done in [absolute] truth and uprightness. (Psalm 111:7-8)
