I will give them one heart and one way, that they may [reverently] fear Me forever, for their own good and for the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will do them good and not turn away from them; and I will put in their heart a fear and reverential awe of Me, so that they will not turn away from Me. (Jeremiah 32:40-41)
Just as a father loves his children, So the LORD loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence]. (Psalm 103:13) The promise of forgiveness, redemption, and blessedness. Trusting in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. Having confidence and hope in the promised word of God as revealed to you. Those with true faith accept God's word, focusing on assurance about what we do not see, looking beyond the situation as it can be perceived by natural vision. Look around you at all the things that fade in the world. Then, look at the Word of God and know it will never fade. It will stand forever.” Life and the things of this world are temporary and perishable, but the word of God will last forever.
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever. (Isaiah 40:8) Stay here and stay awake and keep watch with Me and for Me. (Matthew 26:38) And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping and said; So, you men could not stay awake and keep watch with Me for one hour. Keep actively watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the body is weak. (Matthew 26:40-41)
The Lord commands us to be in a state of constant vigilance, being watchful and prepared for the decisive day of His appearing. We are to be carefully watchful regarding our times as none of us knows the day or hour when He will return or the day or hour which will be our last.
So be alert [give strict attention, be cautious and active in faith], for you do not know which day [whether near or far] your Lord is coming. (Matthew 24:42) Live in such a way that it doesnt matter when He comes because we will be ready for His return. Our life is preparation for the visitation second coming at the end of time.
Be on watch, be alert, for you do not know when the time will come. ( Mark 13:33)
