And the seed that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God's word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest. ( Luke 8:15) God will work to sow his Word in our hearts, but we also have work to do. We must hold to it and endure. The fear of the Lord leads to wisdom, and the lack of wisdom leaves one in folly or the path of foolishness.

For the LORD gives [skillful and godly] wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6)There is a responsibility put upon man to choose the fear of God and to seek after wisdom. God doesn't force us to do His will or to obey, but we must choose this day whom we will serve. (Joshua 24:15)To serve God is to love him with all that we are, obeying, and enjoying him forever. Serving God means doing His will, doing what He commands us to do. It is not enough that we mentally recognize that there is a God, we must do what God commands us to do to.

Serving means giving ourselves for the good of others. Only through God's love for us can we fully serve and love our neighbor. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do. (Colossians 3:23)

Whoever wants to be great must become a servant. Jesus He came for this purpose to serve. (Mark 10:45)

The call of Jesus is to share his life, his values and live as he does, not to have the top places, if even such there be in his service. Holiness is judged on our closeness to God, not on our rank, our job, our vocation. Serve Christ with humility. Preparing our minds for action. We must take control of where our thoughts go, and what our minds dwell on. If we do not fully engage in intentional hope-setting, we will be easily distracted by the false hope of satisfaction the world continually offers us.

So prepare your minds for action, be completely sober [in spirit--steadfast, self-disciplined, spiritually and morally alert], fix your hope completely on the grace [of God] that is coming to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]. (1Peter 1:13,15)

We can't allow ourselves to get tired of living the right way. Certainly, each of us will receive [everlasting life] at the proper time, if we don't give up. (Galatians 6:9) Just consider and meditate

"Faith of Hope in His Word"

I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; More than the watchmen for the morning. O Is
