Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to do. Deutromony 6:4-5 1Chronicles 16:11
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence] always seek his presence.
Seek
ye the Lord, seek ye his face evermore, pray before him constantly;
trust the LORD and his mighty power and worship him always.
The promise of Romans 8:28 that God works for our good “in all things” is reassuring. It means that no matter the circumstance, God working all things together for our good.
Key principle of faith- is only one God to be strong in the holy one and his strength.
THE SEED THAT FELL ON GOOD SOIL REPRESENTS THOSE WHO TRULY HEAR AND UNDERSTAND GOD'S WORD AND PRODUCE. What kind of soil are you?
"But as for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty." Matthew 13.23 Grow a deeper life in Christ.
The sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell beside the road and it was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the sky ate it up. And some seed fell on [shallow soil covering] the rocks, and as soon as it sprouted, it withered away, because it had no moisture. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it out. And some fell into good soil, and grew up and produced a crop a hundred times as great.” As He said these things, He called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.” Luke 8:5-8
What the parable of the sower teaches us is that God is generous. He's extended his grace to EVERYONE. Even those he knows will likely reject it, he gives it to them anyway in hopes they will cultivate their heart and experience the life he came to give them.
The parable of the sower reflects Jesus' ministry. Jesus spoke in public and the seed of his Word fell on several kinds of soil. He explains to his disciples how this parable depicts the way different kinds of people relate to his teachings. The sower is about hearing the word of God. Jesus says, “Whoever has ears, let them hear” . This is a vital matter because according to the parable how we hear the word of God, spoken by Jesus, determines our destiny.
Keep your lamp(s) trimmed and burning, The world work is nearly done the time is drawing nigh. Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish [thoughtless, silly, and careless], and five were wise [far-sighted, practical, and sensible]. For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all began to nod off, and they fell asleep. But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look! The bridegroom [is coming]! Go out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order [trimmed the wicks and added oil and lit them]. But the foolish virgins said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ But the wise replied, ‘No, otherwise there will not be enough for us and for you, too; go instead to the dealers and buy oil for yourselves.’ But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].’ Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come. Matthew 25:1-13
