Trusting in God's Word

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Light is something that is necessary to navigate this world of darkness. We need light to guide us safely through the unforeseen dangers that await us. (Psalm 119:105) Faith is the light of the word, and the word is the light of the truth! There is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit, and no better text than God's Word! May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. (Romans 15:13) Every word of God proves true. (Proverbs 30:5) If God's Word proves true, it means there is clear evidence of its trustworthiness.

To trust is to believe in the reliability, truth, ability or strength of something. So, when it comes to trusting God, that means believing in His reliability. Trusting God completely, living in peace without fear, knowing that God, the creator is in charge of everything.

Trusting God is an essential element of true and saving faith that looks to God and finds peace, strength and contentment in Him, all that He has done, is doing, and will do, both now and forever in His Son Jesus Christ.

And he is my God and my Savior, and the place of my refuge, that I shall not move. On God my salvation and my glory rest;

He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God. Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people;

Pour out your heart before Him.

God is a refuge for us.(Psalm 62:6-8)
