Trusting and Abiding in the Word

Trust the Lord ...Abide in God’s word...Have faith in Jesus...

He is a rock. What he does is perfect. All His ways are fair. He is a faithful God, who does no wrong. He is honorable and trustworthy.

You are my mighty rock, my fortress, my protector, the rock where I am safe, my shield, my powerful weapon, and my place of shelter. The Lord reigneth, he is aclothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

Your testimoies are fully confirmed and completely reliable; Holiness adorns Your house, O LORD, forever.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As the light rain upon the tender grass, And as the spring showers upon the herb.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you. And some fell into good soil, and grew up and produced a crop a hundred times as great. As He said these things, He called out, He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.

Let the sound words which you have heard from me be a model for you in the faith and love which are in Yeshua The Messiah. And Jesus having earnestly beheld, said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

That your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.

I praise the word of God. I trust God.

Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, commendable, those things that are precious, those things that are praiseworthy, deeds of glory and of praise, meditate on these things.
