O give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the people.
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
Speak of all His wonderful acts and devoutly praise them.
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice.
Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might];
Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. (Psalm 105:1-4) My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear of it and be glad. (Psalm 34:2) But let the one who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me [and acknowledges Me and honors Me as God and recognizes without any doubt], that I am the LORD who practices lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on the earth, for in these things I delight,” says the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:24)
And let them that know thy name hope in thee: for thou, O Lord, hast not failed them that diligently seek thee. (Psalm 9:10)
The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God [requiring Him as your greatest need], let your heart revive and live. (Psalm 69:32)
“Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.” But as the scripture says, "Whoever wants to boast must boast about what the Lord has done." For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. (1 Corinthians 10:17-18) But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel [that tells the good news of salvation through faith in Christ], so we speak, not as [if we were trying] to please people [to gain power and popularity], but to please God who examines our hearts [expecting our best]. (1 Thessalonians 2:4) Do your best to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker.
Be eager to present yourself as acceptable to God.
Be diligent to present thyself before God approved; a workman who causes no disgrace, imparting the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
And do this not only to please them while they are watching, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. (Ephesians 6:6)
Whatever you are doing, let your hearts be in your work, as a thing done for the Lord and not for men. (Colossians 3:23) Therefore be not unwise, but understand whatsoever is the will of the Lord. (Ephesians 5:17) And the world doth pass away, and the desire of it, and he who is doing the will of God, he doth remain to the age. (1 John 2:17) So that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living for human appetites and desires, but [lives] for the will and purpose of God. (1 Peter 4:2)
