Because this nation approaches [Me only] with their words

And honors Me [only] with their lip service,

But they remove their hearts far from Me,

And their reverence for Me is a tradition that is learned by rote [without any regard for its meaning]. (Isaiah 29:13) THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS,

BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME. (Matthew 15:8)

And Jesus replied to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND." ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’ The whole Law and the [writings of the] Prophets depend on these two commandments. (Matthew 22:37-40) (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words] (1John 3:18) The more we reflect God's love and compassion, the more love changes our heart. By this we will know [without any doubt] that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart and quiet our conscience before Him whenever our heart convicts us [in guilt]; for God is greater than our heart and He knows all things [nothing is hidden from Him because we are in His hands].Beloved, if our heart does not convict us [of guilt], we have confidence [complete assurance and boldness] before God. (1John 3:19-21)

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26) Instead, He gives us a new heart and helps us through his Holy Spirit to transform our hearts sanctification and even guards our hearts. God transforms you by “changing the way you think.” This renewed mind comes as you allow scripture to teach you God's truth.

A "new heart" and a "new spirit" are one and the same; that is, a renewed one; renewed by the Spirit and grace of God; in which a new principle of life. A call to personal transformation, it shows us how we can faithfully follow God and discover the peace and joy he has for us. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours] (Phillippians 4:7) I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My ordinances and do them. (Ezekiel 36:27) Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God--what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect. (Romans 12:2)

"Faith of Hope in His Word"

I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; More than the watchmen for the morning. O Is
