The Way, Truth and Life

Jesus is our direction (the way), something that is real (the truth), and something that will last forever (life). By following Jesus' teachings and accepting Him as Lord and Savior is the only path; the way to salvation and eternal life. Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. ' For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11) Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way?”Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14:5-6) God's purpose for us is to live our lives for Him and through Him. He wants us to be glorified with Him. This is why we live our life today guided by His word, provision, will and way for our lives. You will guide me with Your counsel,

And afterward receive me to honor and glory. For behold, those who are far from You will perish;

You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful and have abandoned You.

But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God;

I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him,

That I may tell of all Your works. (Psalm 73:24,27-28) Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
