O give thanks to the LORD, call on His name;
Make His deeds known among the peoples.
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
Speak of all His wonders.
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence]. (1 Chronicles 16:8-11)
Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. (Psalm 105:4) God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) By minding our focus and aligning our minds and heart on Him; our spiritual strength truly comes from Him. All things are possible through faith and trust in Him. In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being.
And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception). (John 1:1-3,14) For we were created to live in Him, through Him and for Him. The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands. Nor is He served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:24-25,27-28) In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. (John 1:4)
For with You is the fountain of life [the fountain of life-giving water]; In Your light we see light. (Psalm 36:9) Your word is a doorway that lets in light. Your teachings gives light and brings wisdom, providing an understanding. (Psalm 119:130) Christ is the Light of the world; it is Him whom provides spiritual guidance and life to those who follow Him. The Light of His word is key to our spiritual strength.
