Finally, brothers and sisters, pray continually for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be honored [triumphantly celebrated and glorified], just as it was with you; and [pray] that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not everyone has the faith. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do the things [which] we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1-5) The LORD will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your life.
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do]
From this time forth and forever. (Psalm 121:7-8)

Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Test yourselves! You know, don't you, that Jesus the Messiah lives in you? Could it be that you are failing the test? (2 Corinthians 13:5)
But let every one bring his own work to the test, and then he will have matter of glorying in himself alone, and not in another.
For all must carry their own loads. (Galatians 6:4-5)
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers. (Romans 1:9)
