The Guidance of The Spirit

You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence. (Acts 2:28) For You grant him blessings forever; You cheer him with joy in Your presence. (Psalm 21:6)

For I have heard the voice of your glory and I shall tell all your wonders,

raising my voice in thanksgiving and telling about your wondrous works. (Psalm 26:7)

You lead humble people to do what is right and to stay on your path. (Psalm 25:9) And humility [is] before honor. (Proverbs 18:12)

The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the instruction for wisdom [its starting point and its essence]; And before honor comes humility. (Proverbs 15:33)

The fruit of humility,

The result of humility,

The rewards of humility and the fear of the LORD are wealth and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4) But when the Spirit of truth has arrived, he will teach the whole truth to you. For he will not be speaking from himself. Instead, whatever he shall hear, he shall reveal. (John 16:13)

These are the things God has revealed to us all by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

We also speak of these things, not in words taught or supplied by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual thoughts with spiritual words [for those being guided by the Holy Spirit]. (1 Corinthians 2:10,13)

But you have an anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit], and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us, illuminates our minds, and guards us from error].

I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie [nothing false, no deception] is of the truth. (1 John 2:20-21)

And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him— The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and strength, The Spirit of knowledge and of the [reverential and obedient] fear of the LORD. (Isaiah 11:2) Even the Spirit of truth,

The Spirit will show you what is true, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you. (John 14:17)

For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaiming the Father’s own message]; for God gives the [gift of the] Spirit without measure [generously and boundlessly]! (John 3:34)

For no prophetic message ever came just from the human will, but were under the control of the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God, they were guided by the Spirit of God. (2 Peter 1:21)
