Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Thou wilt keep us in perfect peace, for in thee we have trusted, O LORD, for ever and ever. ( Isaiah 26:3) Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)
The LORD bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];
The LORD make his face shine upon you and give you life;
The LORD lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval],
And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life]. (Numbers 6:24-26) Ascribe glory unto God; his excellency is over Israel and his strength is in the heavens.
O God, thou art honoured out of thy holy place; the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power to his people. Blessed be God. (Psalm 68:34-35) Blessed is the people that understand thy glory; they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. For You are the glory of their strength, and by Your favor our horn is exalted. (Psalm 89:16-17)
The LORD will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace. (Psalm 29:11) Glory in his holy name; rejoice, O hearts that seek the LORD!
Seek ye the LORD and his strength; seek his face evermore. (1 Chronicles 16:10-11)
Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous [who actively seek right standing with Him]; Shout for joy, all you upright in heart. (Psalm 32:11)
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones; Praise is becoming and appropriate for those who are upright [in heart—those with moral integrity and godly character]. (Psalm 33:1) May you always be joyful in your union with the Lord. I say it again: rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
Light is sown [like seed] for the righteous and illuminates their path, And [irrepressible] joy [is spread] for the upright in heart [who delight in His favor and protection].
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones [those whose moral and spiritual integrity places them in right standing with God], And praise and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. (Psalm 97:11-12)
