Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. (Psalm 103:1) Praise and worship are ways to rejoice, pray, and thank God for what He is doing, has done, and will do. Praise refers to lifting God up. It is the joyful recounting of what God has done for us. Praise and thanksgiving go hand in hand as thanking God and offering appreciation for who He is. I will give thanks and praise the LORD, with all my heart; I will tell aloud all Your wonders and marvelous deeds. will rejoice and exult in you;

I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 9:1-2) Not only giving thanks, but to transform our hearts into thankful hearts. Just think of the word, think of what God has done over the ages, wonderful deeds.

Let all that I am praise the LORD. O LORD my God, how great you are. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty.[You are the One] who covers Yourself with light as with a garment,

Who stretches out the heavens like a tent curtain,

Who lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters [above the firmament],

Who makes the clouds His chariot,

Who walks on the wings of the wind,

Who makes winds His messengers,

Flames of fire His ministers. (Psalm 104:1-4)
