This is what the LORD says: Stop your crying, and wipe away your tears. You will be rewarded for your work, declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 31:16) We cried as we went out to plant our seeds. Now let us celebrate as we bring in the crops. Whoso goeth on and weepeth, Bearing the basket of seed, Surely cometh in with singing, bearing his sheaves. (Psalm 126:5-6) For there the seed will produce peace and prosperity; the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will produce its increase, and the heavens will give their dew. And I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit and possess all these things. (Zechariah 8:12) The days are going to come, declares the LORD, when the one who plows will catch up to the one who harvests, and the one who stomps on grapes will catch up to the one who plants. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills. I'll make Israel prosper again. I will bring my exiled people of Israel back from distant lands, You will rebuild your towns and live in them. You will drink wine from your own vineyards, they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit they grow. You will drink wine from your own vineyards, they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit they grow. (Amos 9:13-14) They will build houses and live in them;
They will plant vineyards and eat the fruit.
They will not build and another occupy;
They will not plant and another eat [the fruit].
For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people,
And My chosen [people] will fully enjoy [and long make use of] the work of their hands. (Isaiah 65:21-22) I have taken you from the ends of the earth and called you from its most distant places. I said to you, You are my servant. I've chosen you; I haven't rejected you.
Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation]. (Isaiah 41:9-10)
By awesome and wondrous things You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust and hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea; who dost establish the mountains in thy strength, being girded about with power;
Who stills the roaring of the seas. The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples,
Those who live at earth’s farthest bounds are awed by your signs, and of the goings forth of the dawn and the evening in glory.
You visit the earth and make it overflow [with water]; You greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; You provide their grain, when You have prepared the earth.
You water its furrows abundantly, You smooth its ridges; You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.
You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths overflow. (Psalm 65:5-11)
I will make them and the places around My hill (Jerusalem, Zion) a blessing. And I will make showers come down in their season; there will be [abundant] showers of blessing (divine favor). (Ezekiel 34:26) Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first month.
And the threshing floors shall be full of grain, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. (Joel 2:23-24) Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first-fruits of all thy increase:
so your storehouses will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this, says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure." Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease, for your sake and he will not destroy the fruits of the ground, nor will your vine in the field fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. (Malachi 3:10-11)
Then He will send rain for the seed that you have sown in the ground, and the food that comes from your seed you plant in the ground will produce crops in abundance. (Isaiah 30:23)
Yet he has not left himself without testimony: that He kept constantly doing good things and showing you kindness, and giving you rains from heaven and productive seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness. (Acts 14:17) Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are you who hunger now [for righteousness, actively seeking right standing with God], for you will be [completely] satisfied. Blesséd [refreshed by God’s grace] are you who weep now, for you will laugh. (Luke 6:21)
To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following: To give them a turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning], The oil of joy instead of mourning, The garment [expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God], The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. (Isaiah 61:3)
