Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17) Speaking the message about God's love through Jesus. Our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action. (1 John 3:18) Let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24)

Let each one of us [make it a practice to] please his neighbor for his good, to build him up spiritually. (Romans 15:2)

But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” and there is an opportunity. (Hebrews 3:13)

Therefore encourage and comfort one another and build up one another, just as you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage] is a tree of life, But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress] crushes the spirit. (Proverbs 15:4)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. (Proverbs 18:21)

But I tell you, on the day of judgment people will have to give an accounting for every careless or useless word they speak. (Matthew 12:26)

But whatever [word] comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what defiles and dishonors the man. (Matthew 15:18)

Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak]. (Ephesians 4:19)

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweet and delightful to the soul and healing to the body. (Proverbs 16:14)

Let your speech at all times be gracious and pleasant, seasoned with salt. (Colossians 4:6)  Being tasty seasoned with flavor, which ingredients are the word of God that are delightful to the taste. Enhancing grace which God bestows. Your words should be pleasant and enjoyable to those who hear them, so they can also be used to strengthen others.

You are the salt of the earth.

You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. (Matthew 5:13-15)
