 O taste and see that the LORD [our God] is good;

How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him.

O [reverently] fear the LORD, you His saints (believers, holy ones);

For to those who fear Him there is no want. (Psalm 34:8-9) When God gives us humility, when we grow in humility, there's a reward that comes with that, honor and life, that comes with that. Attributes that are to be fruit of the gospel in our lives. Are compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience are to characterize our lives.

The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the LORD Is riches, honor, and life. (Proverbs 22:4) There is sufficient love, grace,and wisdom of God for us. God's hand in our life, those who fear Him lack nothing. That is the reward of those who diligently seek Him. Keeping the faith and relying on God. God promises those who seek Him and with faith in Him, are rewarded. Knowing with God and faith in Him. all things are possible. But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
