In God I Trust

For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced--beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers —not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38-39) What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (Romans 8:31) ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’
“Indeed, all those who are angry with you will be put to shame and humiliated;
Those who strive against you will be as nothing and will perish.
“You shall search for those who quarrel with you, but will not find them;
They who war against you will be as nothing, as nothing at all. (Isaiah 41:10-12) He told them also a parable that they should pray at all times and they should not grow weary. (Luke 18:1) Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. (Galatians 6:9) Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:15) If God is for you, then nothing can stand against you. It is better to take refuge in the LORD
Than to trust in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
Than to trust in princes. (Psalm 118:8-9) O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence],
Do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed;
Do not let my enemies triumph over me.
Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed;
Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed) (Psalm 25:2-3) But as for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O LORD;
I said, “You are my God.”
(Psalm 31:14)
