Heavenly Bound...

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. (John 3:5) I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God. (John 3:3) Our goal is living a pure life like Jesus. We press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too God will make clear to you. Leaving our old ways behind, we have to start afresh in our character and attitude of our minds. But [we are different, because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. (Philippians 3:14-15,20) For here we have no lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come. (Hebrews 13:14) Living as citizens of heaven, conducting ourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Standing firm in one spirit [and one purpose], with one mind striving side by side [as if in combat] for the faith of the gospel. (Philippians 1:27)
