Guided Heart, Mind and Steps...

The positive words that a man speaks fill his stomach;

he will be satisfied with what his lips produce.

The power of the tongue is life and death

those who love to talk will eat what it produces. (Proverbs 18:19-20)

A man will be satisfied with good from the fruit of his words, And the deeds of a man’s hands will return to him [as a harvest]. (Proverbs 12:14)

Good people do the good that is in them. But evil people do the evil that is in them. The things people say come from inside them.

A good person brings good out of the treasure of good things in his heart; a bad person brings bad out of his treasure of bad things. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Luke 6:45)

A wise person's heart controls his speech, and what he says helps others learn. (Proverbs 16:23)

Don't say anything that would hurt [another person]. Instead, speak only what is good so that you can give help wherever it is needed. That way, what you say will help those who hear you. (Ephesians 4:29)

And your words should always be with grace, as if seasoned with salt, and be aware how it is appropriate for you to answer each man. (Colossians 4:6)

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my helper, my strength, sheltering rock and protector. (Psalm 19:14)

Many plans occupy the mind of a man, but the LORD's purposes will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21)

A person's steps are directed by the LORD, and the LORD delights in his way.

The LORD guides us in the way we should go and protects those who please him. (Psalm 37:23)

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9)

Make level the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. (Proverbs 4:26)

The way of the righteous [those in right-standing with God—living in moral and spiritual integrity] is smooth and level; O Upright One, make a level path for the just and righteous. (Isaiah 26:7)

But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day. (Proverbs 4:18)
