Those who trust in and rely on the LORD [with confident expectation]

Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem,

So the LORD surrounds His people

From this time forth and forever.

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land of the righteous,

So that the righteous will not reach out their hands to do wrong.

Do good, O LORD, to those who are good

And to those who are upright in their hearts.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways [in unresponsiveness to God],

The LORD will lead them away with those who do evil. (Psalm 125) Commit your way to the LORD;

Trust in Him also and He will do it.

He will make your righteousness [your pursuit of right standing with God] like the light,

And your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday [sun]. (Psalm 37:5-6) Committing our plans,way and will to God and then trusting Him. He will direct our every step. God directs our steps when we seek Him and want His direction.

By submitting and obeying God, we are following Him, and He will direct our steps. He allows God to be in control of his life.

The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. (Psalm 37:23)
