Having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude. (Colossians 2:7) Jesus is the source of all things, the creator, sustainer, and savior of the world. It is of great importance of being built up in Christ, continuing to grow in faith and knowledge of Him. Guided by faith in God's word and His unseen presence; we live our lives based on our trust in God and His promises, rather than relying solely on what we can see or understand through our physical senses. We walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]. (2 Corinthians 5:7) We trust in His timing, relying on His promises, waiting on His answer, believing and standing on His word; we rejoice in His goodness.

Without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) Personal experience and intimacy with God, His goodness is not just to be known intellectually or heard by word of mouth; but also felt and experienced personally.

O taste and see that the LORD [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge and trust in Him.

But they who seek the LORD will not lack any good thing. (Psalm 34:8,10)

We must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord,

being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides]. (James 1:6-8)

Faith in God is definitely essential; trusting in His power, wisdom, and willingness to provide.

But as for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O LORD; I said, “You are my God". (Psalm 31:14) This is a declaration of unwavering faith and trust in God; unwavering faith in having a covenant relationship with God.

As he walks and talks with us; His presence comforts us and gives us a sense of security, confidence and assurance. Having a deep commitment to a relationship with God through prayer, worship, service, and obedience to His Word. God is a priority in all aspects of life; aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with His will and purposes over our life. PRAYING- to God for His wisdom; His guidance, direction in our decisions and for understanding of His will for our life. PRAISE AND WORSHIP- Singing filling our hearts with joy and adoration to God. SERVICE- a reflection of our love for God, we serve with a gift or talent with a joyful spirit, gladness of heart and willing spirit that builds His kingdom. OBEDIENCE- Applying God's word to our life. Doing the will of God from your heart; rendering service with goodwill, as to the Lord, and not [only] to men, knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive this back from the Lord. (Ephesians 6:7-8) The wise in heart will be called understanding,

And sweet speech increases persuasiveness and learning [in both speaker and listener].

Understanding (spiritual insight) is a [refreshing and boundless] wellspring of life to those who have it,

But to give instruction and correction to fools is foolishness.

The heart of the wise instructs his mouth [in wisdom]

And adds persuasiveness to his lips.

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,

Sweet and delightful to the soul and healing to the body. (Proverbs 22:22-24)
