I will lift up my eyes to the hills [of Jerusalem]--
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2) Acknowledging our help comes from God and God alone, there is no other God and no other helper other than the one who has made us. I praise you and acknowledge you as my refuge, strength and always ready help in any time of need. (Psalm 46:1) But You, O Lord, are a shield about me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head.
I was calling to the Lord with my voice,
And He answered me from His holy hill. Selah (Psalm 3:3-4) Praising God for His lovingkindness and truth, and the power of His word. For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible. ( Luke 1:37) No word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. Nothing is outside of God's dominion. With men this is impossible; with God whatsoever things He speak are possible. (Matthew 19:26) With thanksgiving to God, who answers prayer's and for being a shield that protects from swords, arrows, darts, and spears.
On the day I called, You answered me; And You made me bold and confident with [renewed] strength in my life. (Psalm 138:3) The God who encircles me with strength,
God who girds me in power makes my pathway safe. ( Psalm 18:32) I will cry to God Most High,
Who accomplishes all things on my behalf [for He completes my purpose in His plan].
(Psalm 57:2)
