Forever Abiding

The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.] By this the love of God was displayed in us, in that God has sent His [One and] only begotten Son [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind] into the world so that we might live through Him. (1John 4:8- 9) Christ is the foundation for the life we live. The fear of the LORD leads to life. (Proverbs 19:23)The fear of Lord is the beginning of a spiritual life,

which leads to eternal life. The reverent fear of the Lord is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom. It's the starting point and its essence, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight. (Proverbs 9:10) Fearing God is knowing God, this is true wisdom. Daily abiding in Christ requires dependence upon the Holy Spirit. Abiding in Christ, allowing His word to fill our minds and direct our will and way.  To abide is to “dwell,” “remain,” “be present,” and to “be held and kept.” Our posture and place in constant fellowship with Him. Keep me [in Your affectionate care, protect me] as the apple of Your eye

Hide me in the [protective] shadow of Your wings. (Psalm 17:9) He that dwelleth in the secret place (cover, protection) of the most High shall abide (to stay permanently) under the shadow (shade) of the Almighty. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be our shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:1,4)
