Following After Jesus

For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps. (1Peter 2:21) Our lives are to mimic that of Jesus' life. We should follow God's example of love and integrity. So I urge you, be imitators of me [just as a child imitates his father]. (1 Corinthians 4:16) Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100:3) The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me],

I shall not want.

He lets me lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still and quiet waters.

He refreshes and restores my soul (life);

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

for His name’s sake. (Psalm 23:1-3) The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are One [in essence and nature]. (John 10:27-30) “Fxing our eyes.” Jesus is both our example and as well our help. Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity]. (Hebrews 12:2) I will lift up my eyes to Jesus.

From where shall my help come?

My help comes from the LORD,

Who made heaven and earth and all mankind

He will not allow your foot to slip;

He who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel

Will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly].

The LORD is your keeper;

The LORD is your shade on your right hand.

The sun will not strike you by day,

Nor the moon by night.

The LORD will protect you from all evil;

He will keep your life. (Psalm 121:1-7) He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. (Psalm 91:1)

We can't allow ourselves to get tired of living the right way. Certainly, each of us will receive [everlasting life] at the proper time, if we don't give up. (Galatians 6:9) Just consider and meditate

"Faith of Hope in His Word"

I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; More than the watchmen for the morning. O Is
