Being connected to Jesus by faith, circumstances has no power over us no more than it did Him.
For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37) Stand firm let nothing move you.
The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. (Psalm 28:7) I will give thanks and praise the LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell aloud all Your wonders and marvelous deeds.
I will rejoice and exult in you;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 9:1-2) We can be of good cheer; our life is in His hands. Knowing to whom we belong to, we will have the victory in Him. Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, in accordance with everything that He promised. Not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He spoke through Moses His servant. May the LORD our God be with us as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor abandon us [to our enemies], that He may guide our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways [following Him] and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His precepts which He commanded our fathers. Let these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, so that He will maintain the cause and right of His servant and of His people Israel as each day requires, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no one else. Therefore, your hearts are to be wholly devoted to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as [you are doing] today. (1 Kings 8:56-61) Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20) 1)Love the Lord your God. 2) Walk in His commandments and percepts. 3)Follow Him. 4)Come near God and He will come near you. 5)Align your hearts and minds to His word, will and ways. 6)Meditate on His word day and night. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
You shall walk [that is, live each and every day] in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and so that it may be well with you. (Deuteronomy 5:33) Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. (Matthew 16:24) Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16) And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear [and worship] the LORD your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being]. (Deuteronomy 10:12)
How blessed and favored by God are those whose way is blameless [those with personal integrity, the upright, the guileless], Who walk in the law [and who are guided by the precepts and revealed will] of the LORD. (Psalm 119:1) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful. (Joshua 1:8)
