For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. (1 Corinthians 14:33) Focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]. (Hebrews 11:2) They looked to Him and were radiant;
Their faces will never blush in shame or confusion. (Psalm 34:5)
Have this way of thinking in yourselves; look to Him as your example in selfless humility.
For let this mind be in you that [is] also in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5) He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of sound mind and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. Quietness of the mind of having a harmonious relationship with God. When we are rooted and grounded in God's love, our faith ignites His power. (2 Timothy 1:7) For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND and PURPOSES OF THE LORD, SO AS TO INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes]. (1Corinthians 2:16) Your faith, then, does not rest on human wisdom but on God's power. (1Corinthians 2:5)
For what this world considers to be wisdom is nonsense in God's sight. (1 Corinthians 3:19) The wisdom that is from above is pure, filled with peace, meek and attentive, filled with love and good fruit, without division and does not show partiality. (James 3:17) Filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized]. (Philippians 1:11) The work of God brings to maturity the fruit of righteousness. The fruit that comes from walking in God's wisdom. Showing itself in active goodness, kindness, and love. (2Corinthians 9:10) The only thing that counts is faith working through love. (Galatians 5:6).
