Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD,
And all flesh will bless and gratefully praise His holy name forever and ever. (Psalm 145:21) God raised Him [to life] on the third day and caused Him to be plainly seen, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen and designated beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank together with Him after He rose from the dead. He commanded us to preach to the people [both Jew and Gentile], and to solemnly testify that He is the One who has been appointed and ordained by God as Judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him [whoever trusts in and relies on Him, accepting Him as Savior and Messiah] receives forgiveness of sins.” (Acts 10:40-43) So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ. (Romans 10:17) When people hear the good news of the Gospel and redemption in Jesus, they can have faith in Christ and accept His eternal salvation. Faith activates upon the things written in the word. Free from sin is now available to those who "by faith" receive the gift of Christ's death for their sin on the cross. You don't become qualified with God based on your performance, but you were made qualified by God when you received Jesus. Being righteous or in right standing with God is the qualification you need. For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union with the Christ, the Anointed] have clothed yourselves with Christ [that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values]. (Galatians 3:26-27)
