Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:7) Growth [that can come only] from God, which grows into His likeness. Faith, love, and peace, are the spiritual essentials of growth. By growing [spiritually mature] in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory (honor, majesty, splendor), both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (2Peter 3:18)

And the seed whose fruit is righteousness (spiritual maturity) is sown in peace by those who make peace [by actively encouraging goodwill between individuals]. (James 3:18) And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight.

They will flourish in the courts of our God. [Growing in grace] they will still thrive and bear fruit and prosper in old age;

They will flourish and be [a]vital and fresh [rich in trust and love and contentment]. (Psalm 92:12-14)

By faith, and by walking in the Spirit, we are able to love Him, walk in His ways, and do His will. When we have faith in who He is, and what He says in His word. Seeking Him, we will learn more of who He is. The more we seek, the more we will love Him.
