He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, from the word of ruin, and from the noisome pestilence. He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, And under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a protective shield and a wall.
Though a thousand fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, the pestilence will not reach you.
You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your eyes And witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High]. Because you chose the Most High as your dwelling place, the sovereign One.
There shall no evil befall thee, no danger will come near your dwelling.
(Psalm 91:1-4,7-10)
But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) The LORD will protect you from all danger.
The LORD will guard you from all evil; he will guard your soul. (Psalm 121:7)
He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him]; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage], guarding the paths of the just and protecting the way of his faithful ones. (Proverbs 2:7-8)
He will be a sure foundation for your times, abundance and salvation, wisdom and knowledge — the fear of the LORD is Zion's treasure. (Isaiah 33:6) The [reverent] fear and worshipful awe of the LORD includes the hatred of evil, I hate pride and arrogance, evil ways and false words.
Counsel is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power and strength are mine. (Proverbs 8:13-14) Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards and protects the souls, the very life of his faithful ones; he rescues them from the power of the hand of the wicked. (Psalm 97:10)
So I will rescue you from the hand of the wicked,
I will be there to rescue you. I, the LORD, have spoken. (Jeremiah 15:21)
He helps them and rescues them; he saves them from the wicked, for they seek his protection.
Because they have taken refuge in him. (Psalm 37:40)
Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him; I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never].
He will call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will answer and be there to protect and honor you.
I will satisfy you with a long life. I will show you how I will save you. (Psalm 91:14-16)
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10) In this way storing up for themselves the enduring riches of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:19) Stop storing up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal;
Your heart will always be where your treasure is. (That which centers your life). (Matthew 6:19:21)
