Let us come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with songs.
O come, let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer]. (Psalm 95:2,6) It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the LORD, To sing praises to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 92:1)
Let the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind—permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. (Colossians 3:16)
Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name. (Psalm 100:4)
Open to me the [temple] gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it. (Psalm 118:19-20)
Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter: the one which keeps faith.
You will keep him in peace, in peace whose thoughts are fixed on you, because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:2-3)Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13) Not that we rule [like dictators] over your faith, but rather we work with you for [the increase of] your joy; for in your faith you stand firm [in your strong conviction that Jesus of Nazareth—the Messiah—is the Son of God, through whom we obtain eternal salvation]. (2 Corinthians 1:24)
Since I am convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,
so that, because of me, your confidence may grow in Christ Jesus when I come to you again.
Only [be sure to] lead your lives in a manner [that will be] worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I do come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit [and one purpose], with one mind striving side by side [as if in combat] for the faith of the gospel. (Philippians 1:25-27)
And in all things show yourself to be an example of good works, with purity in doctrine [having the strictest regard for integrity and truth], dignified,
sound and beyond reproach in instruction, so that the opponent [of the faith] will be shamed, having nothing bad to say about us. (Titus 2:7-8)
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. (Ephesians 6:10)
